They also mentioned that it's going to be the 1st leg of the tour and that there would be another one. They said the first part is not coming to the Midwest but the 2nd part should.

    I wonder if it'll be a Thursday night pre-FF 22 show.

Same! I'm doubtful it will be quite as magical as the tiny show at the Empty Bottle in 2019 but I'm still so stoked.

Went to buy a ticket to see The Offspring in Chicago in 3 weeks... Before fees it was $49.50, after it was $75.18.

The fees and taxes combined are more than half the ticket price. This is infuriating.

I think all these platforms just need to drop the sticker shock and artificial "Face value" nonsense and just do all-in pricing.

I noticed yesterday but IDK how long it's been a thing, I was looking at Lil Nas X tickets yesterday & saw Ticketmaster offered an option to include the fees in the listing price.

This is from when I was trying to buy tickets for Phoebe Bridgers in Chicago. Fees and taxes were more than 50% the ticket price

Yeesh. My gf’s mom was looking into getting tickets for Morrissey’s show in SLO on the 12th, and apparently the tickets are 100% non-refundable under any circumstance. Meaning, if he cancels, no refund. That’s despicable

  17. Haha wow. That’s insane because everyone knows there’s an 85% chance he is canceling.

I don't see how this can be legal. If the show doesn't happen at all, I don't think they can just keep everyone's money.

I've had lots of money never returned due to covid cancellations, so I'm sure they've found a way to make sure it's legal.

Then you gotta contact someone cus I had quite a bit of cancellations and got my money back for each one.

If they rescheduled them though…. they’ll hold on to the money for it unless you contact them

Trust me, I work for a law firm. I've done my due diligence on getting it back and it's not happening. Term and services are insidious for a lot of these major corporations.

There's only one show that got cancelled beacuse of Covid and I didnt got my money back. The Wonder Years in March 2020, I got it at the box office and the venue stop replying everytime I messaged them about it.

They only open the box office when there is a show, I went there once and their response was "We need a manager to check on that, but there's none in here", so Im sure they will never give me my money back.

I got around 80% refunded once COVID canceled things. And about half of that only when I switched from my personal gmail to my work domain email that has all the law firm stuff in the signature. So many of these companies were so shitty despite verbally saying things elsewise during that time period.

I refuse to go back to certain venues/buy tickets through certain places because of it.
