Are Lifehouse still on the GGD tour? I thought they dropped after they rescheduled the whole tour

  3. No idea. They were listed on the Northerly Island website when I looked today, but Tinley also still had the Wallflowers on the MB20 tour and I know they dropped off that.

I've never attended an ampitheater show from the lawn and I never plan to. Doesn't even feel like you're there when you're on the lawn.

I think the lawn can be fun especially for artists I like a lot but don't necessarily love. It's cheaper, easier to get friends on board to go, and the experience is really what you make it. I'd much rather lawn than 300 level tickets in an arena that'll cost me 2x as much.

  14. seeing Blink from lawn seats was the worst time i've ever had, haha. way too far away and i felt like my singing along was louder than the band was. would not recommend lawn seats for your favorite bands.

Blossom Music Center (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) and The Pavilion at Montage (Scranton, PA). I looked at Starlake (Pittsburgh) and they didn’t have it listed like that.

I had lawn tickets to their tour with ADTR a few years ago, it was for the stadium in Tinley Park, IL. I t was sold out and I really wanted to see it but wasn't to keen on seeing it from the lawn. 3 days before the show I sold my ticket on StubHub for a little over face value and it ended up poring rain like crazy during the show. I got lucky there.

3 years ago I drove 3.5 hours to see The Killers in Indiana in another arena (they are her favorite band). The previous time we saw them in the United Center was not a good experience so I decided to get some good seats this time. Midway through the set a thunderstorm started, they evacuated every one who had lawn tickets to their car for like 20 minutes until it passed. Got lucky the seconds time.

2 times I was really lucky, not going to leave it to chance again.

I went to the Virgin Free Fest in 2010 at Merriweather Post Pavilion, it was literally impossible to get to the seats or pit.. and the lawn was perfectly fine for Weezer & Blink until the attempt at a pit during Dammit went as horrible as you can guess (and I can't really complain, the tickets were free)

Also apologies if it was posted but here's the list of venues

Emery are announcing a tour on Tuesday, from the way they mentioned it to me last night it sounds like it's their biggest tour in the past 5 years and there's going to be more Myspace era bands on it

I was reminiscing on the Emery/Anberlin co-headliner in 2007 the other day and now I want that again.

If you have a chance try catching Emery on one of their "Songs And Stories" shows, it's so much fun and these guys are just the nicest people.

I would love to! But they're never anywhere near me. Their set at FF was very cathartic last year since it had been 11 years since I last saw them.
