I saw Cartel last September at FF. Will Pugh still sounds FANTASTIC live.

Also did the Chroma tour. I think maybe a Warped in there somewhere.

  2. i feel like i saw MCS with Paramore at one time. was that a real tour? or am i just thinking of two shows that happened at the same venue?

My fav 5 second period of any set I've ever seen was when he started Say Anything (Else) by saying "well fucking baby don't follow" instead of "and baby don't follow"

  6. Ok I did some research and it was two different shows.

    Paramore/CIWWAF/This Providence/HTL
    MCS/STD/SA/Valencia

    4 years apart... haha. oops.

Also, I have sworrrrrrn my entire life that I saw Paramore and Copeland together somewhere between 2006-2010-ish, but it turns out that I was thinking of the Copeland/Person L/I Can Make A Mess tour.

I've been to so many shows that they're all jumbled up in my dumb head.

this was a great lineup/show at a tiny venue:
    eisley/say anything/moneen/moving mountains

    Things have changed.

    Paramore opened a Copeland/Anberlin co-bill in 2005.

Paramore / Metric / Hellogoodbye is still to this day one of my most regretted missed shows.

    - grade/catch 22/student rick
    - the starting line/the early november/allister/homegrown/senses fail
    - finch/further seems forever/something corporate/new found glory

the list goes on and on...

Anyone use any good programs to keep track of the shows you go to? I'm still throwing them in an Excel doc, nothing fancy other than date/venue/lineup

  17. I've got a Google sheet with every show I've been to (minus a handful of local shows that I could never find exact dates/lineups for once it occurred to me to keep track).

Copeland opened for paramore in 2016? I think. Paramore also played their first show opening for copeland

If my memory serves correct, people hated Copeland on the Screaming is for Babies tour. I remember a lot of complaints going around about them being main support.

makes sense. It’s in motion era copeland and I feel like the pop punk and indie pop worlds were very different at that time

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

This tour happened long before I got into any of these bands, but the fact that Saves The Day was an opener for this makes me curious. Was this during a time when STD had a big decline? Or were SA and MCS just huge around that time? It’s just funny to me that STD would open this co-headliner, only to co-headline with SA four years later

From my understanding, MCS and Say Anything were both pushing major label releases at the time, so that probably had something to do with it.

Oh! I totally forgot MCS was signed to Columbia at one point. That makes total sense
