oh yay I was hoping that was the case when Andy posted about a solo tour.
Can't believe how long it's been since he put out some RAGC! stuff.

Interesting dates! KD's headliner conflicts with the first 5 of those 9, so I'm curious how the support will be organized. Would be surprising if it's not at lest 3 guys per night.

 

I’m genuinely surprised that Andy and Kevin still associate with each other given how close they both used to be with Jesse Lacey and how differently they each responded to his allegations.

 

How differently? I know when Kevin made a statement it was very passive and distancing (which seemed fair) and he dropped from his commitments with BN soon after. I don't really remember how Andy/MO did things.

For it to be the kind of thing that you speculate could have affected their relationship, it must have been quite bad (or my interpretation of what KD did is wrong?).

 

Was really hoping that Rob Zombie tour was gonna be a White Zombie reunion.

Andy basically disavowed Jesse and said he’d never tour with BN again.

Kevin announced he wouldn’t play with the band as a touring guitarist/backup vocalist anymore, but also issued a statement basically saying that Jesse is his friend and Kevin had made mistakes before in his own past. I believe it’s been deleted now, but they are still close friends.

They both cut professional ties and although I haven’t seen Andy’s statement, something tells me he didn’t have negative feelings about Kevin’s choice to offer thoughts tangential to the pile-on, focusing on the victim and then

Yeah I doubt it will. The 30th anniversary of La Sexorcista was recently and rumors were going around so I was just hopeful of a second.

 

Counting Crows dates popping up. Playing Costa Mesa July 27th as part of the OC Fair

 

No way would my body be able to hand 5 concerts in one week.

 

they're all lawn seats so it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

 

I've got 5 events in a row starting tomorrow but on Wednesday and Saturday I might get to sit down haha

 

I just did three in a row this past week and that is more than enough action for me for the next several months probably

 

Even if Andy and Kevin totally hated each other at the time because of the JL thing, it has been years since that incident. I’m sure they’ve had a lot of time to talk about and deal with it.
