For anyone going to the dropkick Murphys tour

 

The news we have all been waiting for

 

Kittie, Lacey Sturm, and Butcher Babies have been the first 3 bands announced

 

I know this isn’t a band, but it’s technically a tour, so…

 

I think the announcement is officially tomorrow but incoming Coheed / DGD / Mothica summer tour.

 

About time a Coheed/DGD tour happens

 

Always amazed at DGD’s career trajectory. Saw them with Jonny at a VFW in 2007. So crazy after all they’ve been through they will probably be doing an amphitheater tour

 

July 17 in Dallas

 

I know DGD like to be apart of diverse lineups but I find Coheed and them to be a strange lineup

 

I think there is a huge overlap between the 2 bands fanbases. DGD and Coheed fans are usually on the nerdier side.

 

This is such a sick lineup, really bummed it's not coming to CLE

 

Lady Gaga dates coming soon (presumably tomorrow)

 

Oh yeah. Very different sounds, but both bands are the same “proggy post hardcore” idea

 

I was going to ay "cult-y" but that might be overreaching a bit.

 

They’re definitely no Dream Theater level of nerd cultiness

 

I might go cuz I missed out on the nyc show last year

 

Heads up for anyone going to the Knuckle Puck tour going on right now (didn't see a thread for it anywhere), their drummer John broke his hand a couple days ago so Ryan will be playing drums and Joe will be playing bass in addition to singing.

 

Definitely looks like we're about to get that tour announcement

 

Tickets go on sale this week for that After The Burial/Thy Art Is Murder tour

Nah, the description implies there are more announcements coming tomorrow.
