I assume The Strokes NYE show on NYC will be cancelled.

 

I want to go see Ratboys at Thalia Hall on Thursday but it feels way too risky being right before Christmas and going to see family then. Really wish they would postpone.

 

I have tickets to Rufus Du Sol at Avant Gardner on NYE, there’s no way NYC will let these shows go on.

 

Im on the same boat, really want to go but I already played it risky going to a lot of shows where people tested positive.

 

ugh. I was thinking the same thing today. Along with Circa Blue Sky Noise tour

Meshuggah tour in March just got rescheduled to September. Don't think Converge is on it anymore.

What’s going to happen is only shitty bands will tour in small/red state markets because those bands don’t care about the health at their shows and those markets don’t have COVID restrictions.

 

Meshuggah's rescheduled dates have nothing to do with COVID.. so for now.. STAY POSITIVE

 

I'm staying positive for now. Yes it's not looking good but it makes me feel better to have things to look forward to

Welp... someone tested positive after going to the Beach Bunny show in Chicago. It was my last show of the year so I really hope Im negative for this one too

 

do you mean someone in your circle did? I've been to quite a few shows the past few weeks but I wouldn't know where to find out that kind of information outside of like Reddit threads for the artists/bands. Is there some other way to be made aware of that that I'm not realizing?

I found that on the Beach Bunnyposting group on Facebook. I read about Rise Against and The Wonder Years on their respective Facebook groups, people who went to the shows post about it so other fans are aware and go get tested too

 

Think it's pretty safe to assume that if you've been to a show in the past few weeks with more than 100 people there then someone who went has since tested positive

 

I’d be surprised if Brian goes forward with his Jan/Feb tour

 

Ugh that would suck for the NIL (and Worriers)

 

I’m very surprised that Thursday still look to be going through with their holiday shows next week.

I think we’re about to see artists really have to make a hard decision between support themselves financially or make a safety based decision…I truly hope we don’t turn on artists that need to stay on the road to survive.
