Aren’t some of these venues kinda small? Or is Baroness not as big in the states as I thought they were?

 

these are tiny by-request setlist shows for the hardcore fans with expensive tickets

 

I saw them in Chicago a few weeks ago with the same tour on the same venue, Im surprised they are coming back 2 months later. Tickets were $65 and included a print signed by John. It was fun but I wont repeat, as you said, its mostly for hardcore fans

 

I wish I could just pay like $20 to see Primus play Jerry Was a Racecar Driver and say, "Okay, I'm good"

 

Awesome. I was bummed I missed the first leg last summer. Gonna try to hit up that Long Beach show!

I don't think it's a Canada thing because I've had the same thought myself and noticed the exact same pricing in comparable markets in the US. This is the new normal.
