Yes it is and I like both but it’s the same time as riot fest in Chicago. It’s the Thursday and I have access to Thursday so I’m kinda bummed. If the lineup for Thursday sucks I’m def going to that if it doesn’t sell out

I saw that, but I’m also seeing Rolling Stone reporting it as artist choice. Confusing.

 

I think it should be for all tours not just if the artist wants to but something is better than nothing I guess

 

Yeah, very confusing. If I had to guess quite a few artists will opt in to this strategy.

I suspect the rule is artist's choice in part because of the states where you can't mandate vax status, but idk

 

Nor will red state butt rock bands

Any bands or groups or tours not on board with this need to cancel their tour immediately imo

 

Yeah if I were touring and playing shows every night in multiple cities, the last thing I’d want is for a crowd of unvaccinated fans all breathing directly at me and my friends in a poorly ventilated venue. Noooo thank youuuu.
