It may be a little too optimistic, but the news from the CDC yesterday made me feel a lot better about concerts actually happening this year. Might do some mass buying here soon.

Are Kings Of Leon really still amphitheater fillers at this point? I feel like they'd be best served at like 5k-capacity venues. Then again, I have same question regarding Goo Goo Dolls and they keep booking Jones Beach each summer so what do I know.

 

they are absolutely still an amphitheater band, off of the singles over a decade ago alone

 

I saw them live once years ago, it was a fun time and it was in a packed arena but I haven’t kept up with them since. It seems like they have a big dedicated fan base.

 

Fair. I think the new album is just so passive sounding that I suppose a lot of people dropped off but I guess they can still move a fair amount of tickets.

 

Goo Goo Dolls are a 5K shed band in most markets but NY and LA. KOL are a shed band everywhere.

They were still an arena band in 2017 for WALLS. Amphitheaters shouldn't be a problem.
