Matchbox Twenty tour postponed to 2022.

 

It's not the greatest venue, but it's really close to the PATH so the commute is quick. Small place and prices are usually cheaper than typically in the city, but yeah like someone already said the sound quality is iffy.

 

Was thinking the same thing. Odd how shows I've had tickets to have been postponed to 2022, yet new shows are getting announced daily (and the 80,000 cap Bonnaroo just sold out).

NY state just announced arenas/stadiums can increase capacity to 33%, so I'm still optimistic that it'll be at 100% by August.

 

Hell yeah, love that Detroit and Toledo are a month and a half apart, I'll probably do both dates.

 

Eh only amphitheaters and arenas are moving to 2022 and I'd say its more likely due to weather and venue availability.

I've never heard of Lucero though so I guess it's just my perspective based off the genres I frequently listen to

 

Teenagers obsessed with an app called TikTok. It’s an app where you make videos set to music and it’s huge with the younger generation right now. Beach Bunny’s music has been phenomenally popular on that app, and I expect many, if not all of those shows to be filled with those people

 

In Chicago before they blew up on TikTok their crowd was more the punk crowd and there was moshing and crowd surfing and fun walls of death and those still happen at their shows today but there’s definitely the newer crowd who comes from TikTok and isn’t into that or doesn’t know that vibe, which kind of sucks.

 

Don't care about the tik tok crowd, I'll be at one of those dates

 

Ah thanks. I know TikTok but didn't realize Beach Bunny had such a big presence on there.

 

My gf is starting to get annoyed with me asking "what are you listening to?" when she's scrolling through TikTok, because it's Beach Bunny like 60% of the time

 

Yeah it’s crazy. Prom Queen was HUGE because of how much it was used on TikTok. The same thing is happening to Cloud Nine. Both have millions of Spotify streams because of it

 

That's wild. I should specify that I am a late 30's white dude living in Brooklyn so my use of TikTok is minimal, thus why I was clueless. Nonetheless, I shall enjoy standing with the TikTok enthusiasts at Webster Hall when they play there in October.
