Honestly if Pierce the Veil ever comes back you think they will be still as big as they were? I would love to see a co-headliner with them and Dance Gavin Dance with support from like Silverstein/The Amity Affliction/Picturesque. I think a package like that could fill small arenas

If they do come back, I hope they address that their drummer is a creep and replace him.

There's a Puddle Of Mudd show with a bunch of other bands (Tantric, Fuel, Local H and tons of other local bands) scheduled for Sep. 5th outside of Chicago. The promoters insist that if nothing critical happens until that date then there's no reason this wouldn't happen.
They actually removed Trapt from the bill because of... Well, because it's Trapt.

So i wouldn't be surprised that shows are being booked again.

I mean it is not up to the promoters. If Illinois is not in phase 5 by then, which we probably will not be, that show literally cannot happen.

  7. That place at least has a huge parking lot so they could have it outdoors if there are fewer restrictions on outdoor gatherings than indoors. But I agree that it's probably not happening.

They are saying that technically this venue is 4 different venues and as long as they are allowed to be open with 50% capacity then it's happen with no problem.

Also IL's phase 5 is a long time away, it seems like, but phase 4 might start before the end of the month since the numbera are looking well so far.

  10. "Technically four separate capacities" but everyone will crowd into the main room when the big acts play. Sounds like a recipe for disaster (or it might just way undersell and not matter anyway).

I was on the fence with this tour, but now I really want to go due to concert withdrawals haha.

This Is Hardcore is still taking place, but I'm guessing they're making it into an online only event. There's no way Philadelphia will allow that many people in one spot in August. Plus, there's no way any bands from overseas are thinking about pulling up in America right now.

Social distancing applies but only 40 people max would have been there before the pandemic lol

Emo bands should go play 25k sheds we can easily social distance

They tried that last year already. It was called Disrupt Festival.

Bands should just wait until we return to some sense of normalcy to tour. I get that both the bands and the fans are eager to return, but these drive in concerts and 40 cap shows aren't going to be nearly as fun as people are thinking or to the sense of normal concert experience they're thinking. Just wait and then we'll all get out there again when it's safe.

I can't believe I attended the first ever socially distanced concert ever.

Conspiracy theory: Rockstar was hired by the government to put on a poorly-attended music festival so they could test the affects of social distancing (and they also knew about Coronavirus last year for some reason)*

*hi I don’t actually believe this
