I hope there's more Hardcore in the second announcement. Not bad, though.

Yeah I'm thinking it'll be like a mid 00s Warped lineup for this cruise. I'm definitely interested to see how well Kevin did booking this.

    Only 2 days this year?

Last year was 2 days as well. I think they learned a lesson in 2015 with day 3. They had Motionless In White, For Today, The Color Morale, and a whole slew of bands that don't fit with this fest's traditions and that day apparently sold horribly.

Coheed And Cambria/Taking Back Sunday tour in May maybe? They're both doing Rock On The Range and the same day of Carolina Rebellion

Very nice! I "worked" for LN / HOB for a long time. I was the highest person on the street team. And I had to stop due to my actual work schedule. Lol. Do they still do that?

I'm pretty sure they still have a street team! I'm a talent buyer here now

Dashboard Confessional will be in tour early next year. 1/28 at House of Blues in Chicago.

Yeah I remember that MIW year. That tour closed out the fest right?

Yep. I wasn't there, but two of my friends go up for the whole weekend every year as a tradition. They said that day was noticeably emptier than the first two. Apparently on night 2 they were giving out free tickets to day 3 just to try to fill the place up a bit more. Death Before Dishonor and Cruel Hand played that day too, but they were the only draws for the older Hardcore crowd that fest typically caters to.

I live an hour from the palladium and that day was the only time I've ever been to NEMHF mainly because it was selling so bad that they were selling tickets for $15 for a little bit, the place was empty all day long

My ideal guess at what I'd want from these festivals as a tour is The Amity Affliction, Beartooth, Wage War, and Sylar.

Bonus conversation: Who would be billed higher, Wage War or Sylar?

Boy, I would be all over that tour. And good additional question, maybe Sylar due to them being a band longer?

    Fixed. I'd go co-headliner.

I wonder if that Real Friends / Beartooth tour is still happening at some point? RF teased it at one point on their Twitter.

I know Beartooth retweeted it too. Probably waiting for schedules to line up.

So what's up next to get announced? Real Friends and State Champs headliners? Four Years Strong RODT U.S. dates? Warped Tour dates?

    -The Color Morale/Silent Planet
    -Suicidal Tendencies/Havok
    -Emmure headliner
    -Chelsea Grin headliner
    -Attila headliner

Gideon/Vanna was a rumored to be a thing in here for a while but idk how credible that one is.

Talked to garret from the color morale last night, asked about any upcoming tours, he said he didn't think they had anything planned, I mentioned I heard maybe a tour with silent planet, he basically shrugged and was like sure.

    I've Made A Huge Mistake

I know NFG = New Found Glory, I meant who are they touring with?

  25. bstadtfeld

    but does it djent?

As much as I love Wage War, I think Sylar would be billed higher considering the big tours they've been on as of late (Ice Nine Kills, Attila/Chelsea Grin).
