That Citizen tour is tempting.. is it purposely a small tour or is that just where they are at now? I wonder if there will be new music by the show.

 

Heard that the SoCal date is in Los Angeles

 

I think it's a purposefully small tour. Last time they were here they co-headlined with Knuckle Puck at the Metro, and prior to that their previous headliner was at Cobra Lounge which sold out, and before that they headlined the Metro. (I didn't include when they opened for TSSF)

 

A lotta great shows announced this week that all skipped the PNW

kinda wish that Citizen show wasn't on the same day as Pearl Jam but won't lose any sleep over missing them this time

 

CIZ at Mahall’s is going to be awesome!

I may try to go the Big Room in Columbus for it as well but I’m not sure yet.

 

I think taking a year off kind of hurt them a bit, but I do feel they lost a bit of steam. Still really like them though, and I'm excited for a super intimate show at Detroit.

 

Ya I guess thinking about it too a smaller tour that will sell out is a good way to rebuild a little hype before announcing a new album/bigger fall tour.
