I think it's wild that Blink is the "opener" but there is no doubt that in 2019 that Green Day and Fall Out Boy are bigger draws.

    EDIT got confused

I wouldn’t be surprised if they have to do multiple nights at a stadium. Green Day filled up Wrigley on their own two years back, yeah? If FOB and Weezer are in the mix then I imagine the demand is gonna be higher

Wait, August? So they're teasing it almost a year in advance?

In case you were wondering, La Defense holds 40K for concerts. This is going to be huge.

    Things have changed.

It's hard to fill stadiums. They'll need every day of the lead time.

Assume this won't come to Portland since we don't have a stadium big enough, but if this comes to CenturyLink in Seattle I'd make the trip up. Never seen Green Day or FOB and only time I've seen Weezer was the Blink reunion tour.

Arenas are for Hockey & Basketball (typically seat between 15,000-20,000 people)

Stadiums are for Baseball & Football (Typically seat 50,000-75,000 people)

Lmao arenas and stadiums being the same thing is one of the wildest takes I’ve seen in a minute

Is U of O’s football stadium too optimistic?

  20. koryoreo

Actually forgot about that. I could see it, but was just being more optimistic since most stadium tours have less dates and people would travel north to Seattle for this.

Arenas and stadiums being the same thing is uh, one of the more wilder things I’ve heard on this website. All stadiums and all arenas aren’t even the same. There’s football stadiums, which very few artists are popular enough to play, then there’s baseball stadiums which seat a little less and only a handful more musicians/bands can play.

Arenas you have the 20,000ish NBA/NHL ones but there’s also smaller ones that seat 5-10,000. So they’re all different.

Ari teased a while back they’d do California shows soon. I’m still waiting on those ☹️

I know Fall Out Boy is probably way bigger at this point than Weezer, but it'll be weird to see Weezer go on first for this bill.
