Saw them last week, it was awesome as always, unfortunately only about 50 people showed up.

 

yeah they still havent sold out a 500 person venue here. bummer.

 

v important band for me the last few days

 

A More Perfect Union has been a good summation of some of my feelings and I appreciate TA for that song and that album

 

So, The Monitor is probably the most important indie rock album of the decade yeah?

 

I wouldn't say that, as someone who loves it. Interested to hear why you think so, though.

 

I feel like every few months I rediscover this band and I love them a little more. I'm at that point right now

new song and album announcement...it's different. though i've heard some bad things about this album as a whole...

 

what were your general thoughts on this bands other albums? i dont remember, just curious.

Honestly was thinking they might’ve been done after the last record. Glad they’re not. I’ll probably skip on listening to this since there’s only seven tracks and it’s the opener but man I’m hyped for this album

 

I’m actually not a huge fan of this band but I’ve always respected them. I haven’t heard anything but the first song but this definitely reinforces what I heard

 

i’m into it. very interested in seeing this acoustic tour as well

 

This song is good. Honestly every few years I'll give the Monitor a spin to see if I'm missing anything, and it just...doesn't click. I'm into this though

 

don't love the track on first listen but i'll probably wait for the record to spin it some more

gonna listen to the monitor a bunch today though

 

The Monitor is great and all but I don't think I care for it as much as a lot of people do in comparison to the rest of their work

 

considering my all time fav titus song is "To Old Friends and New" , i am ALL for an entire album of ballads
