Out of town since Thursday. Receive a call from the local police Monday because they’re trying to do road construction and the crew wants to impound our car because it wasn’t moved. Allegedly they dropped a notice off over the weekend but nothing was there when we got home. This morning they completely blocked off the since entrance/exit to our neighborhood with no heads up and is rude to my wife when she tried to leave to take our kid to daycare and go to work. Called the foreman with a phone number I found online to complain about the shit communication and he’s nothing but excuses. I understand road construction is impossible to do without some inconvenience but Jesus communicate better when you’re working 2 miles of a main road that is multiple neighborhoods only way out.

We’re dealing with it. Just a frustrating mix of bad timing and shitty communication

 

The worst. I’ve had issues sleeping since high school and now that we have kids I feel like I’ll never be rested again lol

Getting a meal all prepared, sitting down, and realize you have to pee. It's completely irrational, but I fucking HATE that.

 

so far i've had five different facebook accounts under her name and all kinds of different numbers trying to call me. I don't know that I care anymore tho

 

like you're reading my mind. when this happens to me (which it does far too often) it's almost like my body is intentionally betraying me or something

 

Not sure exactly what situation you're in but sending good vibes your way. They'll run out of steam and/or ways to harass you eventually.

I pay my rent through an app and it’s the only bill I don’t have automatically withdrawn so I manually pay it each month which is fine except that every month on the last day of the month it will ping you and say “optional last day of the month and your rent is due” which always fucking makes me second guess myself for a second if I paid or not.

Makes me wonder how many people have paid twice for one month - granted, the management here doesn’t seem to be sketchy as they howled at me to pay a dollar less one month so their books matched because I guess I added an extra dollar to the total so their numbers were off lol

 

About a month ago or so I went to my “HR” at work (we don’t have an HR, but I went to the person that deals with that stuff) and requested an update in my address for my medical stuff. Back when I made the request I even followed up and was told they updated it. Well they didn’t do that because I got important documents not sent directly to me. Followed up again. Was told no they don’t update it because they don’t have access and it’s the agent that has access so they have to contact the agent. Now I have to follow up AGAIN to make sure it’s actually done.

How my mail never comes at the same time everyday. I was waiting for 2 packages today and the mail didn’t come until after 4!!! Sometimes it comes at 11 I don’t get it!!!
