Haven't heard In Silence.

What era is that from? The only b sides I have are Jet Black, the ones from Kill the House Lights, Even the Sand..., Fuck You I'm in Space, Hide From the Orchestra, and the ones from CE.

 

That's off their split with Envy.

 

Except missing the best one!!! You Were The Cancer!!!!!

Holiday set was lit except the lack of one or two more ND songs. Would cut a few of the earlier songs for it

 

You Were The Cancer may be my favorite song by them. I didn't include it because I figured they obviously very rarely ever play it. I made my setlist a blend between want they'd probably play and what I'd really want to hear. If it were an 18 song setlist then Cancer would absolutely be in

 

In Silence is an awesome instrumental song. Do you have yet to listen to An Absurd And Unrealistic Dream Of Peace as well?

Sweet! I would try to find people but I am getting there late do to a work event right before the show.

I was seriously considering throwing Common Existence in my setlist but figured they would never play that one.

For the longest time I wanted that logo to be featured as the album artwork. I actually kind of hate they used to it for the b-sides/live album.

 

And it was a beautiful thing. I just don't know what I'd drop from my setlist for it. I guess probably Signals and I'd move WATT into the regular set and put Cancer in the encore

 

yeah im dumb i listened to ian curtis right before i plopped that in there too

 

also god yes if you haven't listened to their split with Envy it is incredible, love it. I also just love the idea of Thursday getting up on stage without a word and just jamming on In Silence before the clicks at the end fade and then boom Stay True anyway my fantasies are surely ridiculous and they'd probably never do something like that

 

Correct. I know both are from that split, but yeah I haven't listened to either. Everyone always praises An Absurd...I was gonna YouTube it a long time ago. Guess it's time!

i expected stay true to be one of the songs touche picked haha. just because of personal attachment. i like the love for the ambient track they had, i almost put it on the setlist i made but i didn't want it to count against a longer song

I'll pretend that wasn't a complete oversight and say that there are too many great "closer" songs to pick - they play Jet Black every time I've seen them, so I don't think I would swap anything out anyway...

 

It better be Code Orange level crowd killing.

 

Ah damn lucky you, I've seen them 3 times and they never played Jet Black. Then again I haven't seen them live since 2006....
I'm sure they'll play it when I see them in two weeks.
