So this tour is co-headlining correct? So set lenght will be about the same for Circa and Thrice and they split between dates who closes out which show?

    yeah good okay Prestigious

I really didn't like Beggars on the initial listen. I remember listening to the opening bass on "All The World Is Mad" for the first time, thinking it was a joke.

It's still not my favorite, but I appreciate it much more now.

I still need Beggars, Alchemy, and Anthology on vinyl. Of course the ones that are most hard to come by.

All the World is Mad is still my least favorite on the album. I love Beggars, but it's by no means my favorite Thrice album.

It took a little while for Beggars to really grow on me and for me to truly love it, but I'd say it's had the greatest staying power and most consistency of any of their albums for me over time.

I would love to have a repress of that. If I got that and an Alchemy Index repress to sit alongside my copies of To Be Everywhere, Vheissu, and Artist, I'd be a happy camper.

My favorite part of Beggars upon first listen was when this weird voice came on and said it was some sort of stream. Super experimental.

Haha I remember that! I think it was a female voice?

It was. Very ballsy choice on their part. Even ballsier to remove it from the physical release. Having two versions is bold.

I have never heard or heard of this. What song and where can I find it?

  15. Greg

    The Forgotten Son Supporter

It was the entire album. I think the first edition was called "Beggars- this is a media stream provided by Vagrant and you are probably listening to this illegally".

    Again, bold choice.

Oh, so I misread. It wasn't a female voice over a song adding to it, it was just a voice saying "Welcome to the stream" before the album started. Got it.

I thought you thought I was serious.

Haha not quiete that. Let me see if I can find it on YouTube. I heard it by accident a couple years ago for the first time in years.

Alright, I can't find it. But the voice said the statement multiple times per song.

Going back through Thrice’s discography, what a body of work. Vheissu onward in particular is one of my favorite runs in music.

"You're listening to a Vagrant Records advance promotional stream"

I know where it comes in on every single song. it was the only version I had of the album for so long, It feels weird to not hear it now.

I bought it on iTunes as soon as they released it, which wasn’t too long after the leak. So I don’t remember all the moments it popped in. I can’t imagine having the ability to not hear the leak and choosing to only listen to that haha

Epitaph is bigger than Vagrant right? At least in the rock world because Vagrant is more indie I think

    Huh, that's weird.

Vagrant are owned by BMG now, which makes them pretty big.
