Aaaaand I just bought a second one.

 

This is what happens when brand new neglects its fans, we double down on thrice

 

I spent outrageous amounts of cash on Thrice last year.

The fact that it all conicided with my desire for and the lack of a new Brand New album is not a coincidence.

 

God dammit lol

I just bought another one ($26 less then I did the first time)

 

Why buy a second one?

 

So I can be a scalper!

One to keep Mint as I inevitabley overplay the other.

 

My friend might need one so it's just precautionary

 

Yeah "Sea Change" is real good, unsurprisingly.

 

I really like Sea Change. Grabbed it for 9 bucks at my local shop.

 

Love the guitar on the back half of the song. Starts off a little too sparse on the front half for my taste.

Spinning the Anthogy set right now and hot damn side D is a perfect triplet of some of their best songs (Daedalus, Words in the Water, Dust and Nations)

 

Such a great collection, balanced between all their discography pretty well. I'd personally take Side B to the first disc that has Kill Me Quickly, Under A Killing Moon, Silhouette.

 

Kill me quickly is on side A actually, A has 4 tracks and B has just 2
but yea, the whole thing is stellar

My Sea Change 7" came so I've finally listened and wow so good

Seether covered Black Honey at their show last night and it was pretty rad

 

That's awesome. Seether is a pretty big band right?

 

Not sure about today, but I remember them being huge back in the day.

I've always really liked Seether. Really cool that they liked the song enough to cover it. It kinda fits their style too, I'm sure fans who don't know the song maybe thought it was a Seether song lol.

 

They also covered brand news daisy...

 

I think that would sound good. I couldn't find anything on youtube though

I did find a slew of other covers they have done. Seems like they bust a random one out per tour. That's kinda cool.

 

Didn't they also release a song that sounded just like a track on Daisy?
