I’ve seen Thrice open for Face To Face back when they were touring illusion of safety. I love both bands.

Not at all! My phone wasn't cutting it so I had to bust out the nice camera, and then cut the file size down so they'd fit on here. I'll probably be able to do that later tonight

That was taken from the first pressing from years ago. I have both that and the repress from before xmas, I'll check to see if anything is different too.

I love both bands, too. But, Thrice never should've been opening for Face to Face when the majority of the Face to Face crowd wasn't embracing Thrice. Their old-school punk fans weren't open to this new genre. Thrice has literally said this about that tour. I went to every SoCal show on that tour.

Citizen would also be a great opener.

I didn’t get to see Thrice until their second show returning from hiatus. Everything clicked with me just as the “final tour” was winding down and by that point the shows were already sold out. Five more Thrice shows since that first time for me.

Thrice was a heavy band to have opening, but out of the four bands playing, there were mostly face to face fans, then thrice, then midtown, and movileife.

It put them on a different radar.

Trade Wind would fit nicely on a bill with Thrice

That would be a big tour for a part time band though

Thrice should just stop messing around and join Slayers final tour.

Yeah I know I just love that band so much and badly want to see them live.

Thrice just needs to play for 2 hours, no opening band.

Their final show on their "Farewell" tour would work for me if they took that back on tour :-)

I disagree. Midtown and Movielife had a livelier presence in the crowd for most of those SoCal shows. (I went to all of them.) Like you said, Thrice was a heavy band that opened on punk/pop-punk tour. I'm sure they made some new fans, but I'll never forget standing behind two old-school Face to Face fans during the show. They literally did not flinch during Thrice's set. That being said, the Anaheim show had plenty of Thriceheads in it. The other SoCal shows, especially LA, were pretty flat.
