Orlando. Actually, I just called the box office and found out my super pregnant wife qualifies us for "accessible" seating right behind the sound mix. Not on the balcony, but it's a pretty great spot in the venue.

Nah man you've obviously fathered some kin that you haven't been told about yet.

How far along? My 9-month preggo wife was at a Norma Jean show two years ago, she wanted to go into labor so badly just to be able to tell the band on Twitter later that their music does indeed have the power to do that.

Oh yeah, 3 posts in and I just remembered the reason I logged on was to say Thrice is selling a super limited aqua/turquoise TBEITBN vinyl at each tour date and it looks beautifullll.

Yeah it was posted a little while ago. I'm sure it's 180g as well.

Though I'm curious how many they will allot for each show. I really hope I'm able to get one next week at the show.

I don't have the money to buy it, but if I get in there and they still have it, I will cave. I was already debating sitting in the balcony for this show anyways, but I know I'll also regret not standing on the floor.

I always sit on the balcony whenever possible. I had back surgery when I was 21, and I just can't jump around like I once used to. Plus my fiance is like 5'4" so she can never see if we aren't at an elevated position.

I tried for one show and it just wasn't for me. But yeah, I'm getting older and slowly moving to the back.

We still don't share a bank account haha. That's one thing I'm just not quite ready to share yet. And we've been together 7 years.

    hmmm

Seneca reminds of Dream Brother by Jeff Buckley, especially the way it crescendos at the beginning.

Actually giving this a listen right now. Haven't really liked anything these guys have done since AitA.

If you end up liking this, I'd revisit all of those albums in between.

I'm about halfway through. It's ok. Nothing I can see myself revisting. Maybe a song or two.

She will be almost 8 months along. Definitely not ready for labor yet. Haha.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was already talked about, but does anyone know what variant is on Amazon? I wasn't the 180gram and they're easy to find on discogs but it'd be cheaper and quicker to use prime if I can.

Also never really been a Thrice fan by any means, but this album blew me away, definitely need to check out their back catalog.

I think there are only two (plus tour) variants. Smoke and black. Both being 180g. Not completely certain though.

Also, check out Beggars next. My personal favorite.

I know it's still the #1 rock album on iTunes. That can't be bad. Right?

Yeah Amazon's version is the 180g black. 3 variants so far. Though I think it's sold out on Amazon. You'll have to buy it from a third party distributor (which excludes any Prime benefits).

serious question: does that mean 180g is not exclusively black? almost all of the 180g that I have are black (it's not a lot), and I don't think I've ever seen colored variants have the 180g note.

Nope, just bought it on Amazon, thanks for the info.

I actually have a few 180gram records that are colored, for example the new Modern Baseball record was a yellow 180gram.
