I know, big surprise that someone might not like something as much as someone else. What a concept.

Still bummed that there's no real readily-available vinyl pressing of this. Wishing I had jumped on it sooner.

I don't need anyone to like something as much as me. I just can't believe that there are 10 2016 records BETTER than Thrice's latest installment.

Weird guy? Because I can't believe that TBEItBN is NOT in his Top 10 Albums of 2016 (so far)?

However, I realize he's a fan of pop music, something I am not, so I have a smaller pool of records to choose from as far as my top 10.

This is in my top 10, it may even be number two.. But nothing will touch goodness for me.

What is your problem, man? You're always trying to start something no matter what I say. There was zero cynicism behind my initial statement. Ultimately, I was praising Thrice's record, not indicting Jason's taste, since I haven't heard an album come even close to its greatness. Get off my case.

Thrice is your favorite band, right? What's your favorite track off Goodness?

What's the point of even bringing up his name in the first place? Why would anybody care of Thrice landed in his top 10 for the year so far? What makes that an interesting topic of discussion?

And then acting surprised that there at least ten albums this year better than this album? Branch out dude and stop acting surprised that someone doesn't like something as much as you.

Thrice is my favorite band.yes.. But hotelier only have two albums to date that I love, if they stick around I could see them one day being number one lol..

Favorite goodness track is two deliverances but soft animal, sun, you in this light, settle the scar, and end of reel are all really close

Once again, the fact that there are 10 records BETTER than TBEItBN, which is in many people's top 3 so far, is the issue because it's surprising, not because someone doesn't like something as much as me per your lame theory.

It's SURPRISING to see a longtime Thrice fan NOT put it in his top 10 and I'm commenting to that point. Once again, to ensure my point is understood: I'm not indicting his taste or saying someone should like something as much as me.

I think you're the one turning this into something it's not because you tend to turn the most harmless statements into the exact opposite of what they're intended to be. Every time I say something, you respond with a snarky or contentious comment.

I repeat: I don't need anyone to rate the record as high as I do, but to not even rate it? That's shocking, especially since Jason is a longtime Thrice fan and was once quoted by the OC Weekly as saying the following in regards to a potential Thrice hiatus (back in 2011):

"It would arguably be the biggest news since Blink-182 went on hiatus, and it would be such a big blow to the [punk] community..."

So, that's why it's surprising since their comeback record didn't even make HIS top 10 through 6 months, not because of some cynical nonsense you're conjuring up just to create drama.

If you read his first listen opinion on the supporters forum it's pretty clear that while he enjoyed the record it wouldn't make his top 10.... Mike you need to stop getting yourself into these really weird arguments lol!

  18. Anyone who is surprised this didn't make a top 10 has an extremely insular view of music. A ton of great albums have come out this year, and not everyone is uncomfortably consumed by Thrice.

Why do you guys argue about the dumbest shit? I guess it's a sign that there really aren't many new things to talk about in the world of Thrice at the moment.

Didn't see any demonising he just said he was surprised.. And there is plenty to talk about its just a matter of waiting until the next tour begins.

Do we think they will change the set lists for the second leg of the tour?

I definitely think they'll change the setlist up for the second leg of the tour. I know they were asked about Whistleblower in the Reddit AMA and Riley said the "fully intend to play it on future tours."

I think the new songs that'll stick around for the second leg are Blood On The Sand, Black Honey, Stay With Me, and Death From Above. I can see Hurricane and The Long Defeat get dropped for Whistleblower and either The Window or Wake Up.
