Heaven forbid I expect better response than “just ignore him” like we’re in elementary school

They are pressing vinyls, touring in South America, trying to get radio play on rock music stations.

Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

And while I’m sure you doubt that they could sell as many records if they dropped it on your timeline, it appears the band, their management, and their label feel differently.

well I mean, we all realize how childish this is right? Just me? I'll keep to myself then and just enjoy then.

I mean, you keep chiming in complaining about people when you could hold it to yourself or, as you said, go to another thread..

You’re right, having a conversation about things that bother us is childish. Okay.

To be fair, passive aggressive posting is a good 2/3 of Internet message boards.

We aren’t putting that toothpaste back in the tube.

At this point, if blocking isn’t an option for you, i don’t see how bringing it up (again) in the thread gets us anywhere.

This sort of complaint should be directed toward a mod or Jason.

Shit posting him in the thread just plunges us into another round of this.

Edited for too many uses of the word “shit”

  17. Instead of being mad about album rollouts you could just listen to one of the best albums of all time instead

One of the reasons why it’s their best album:

    That kick ass album rollout.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Agreed. I contribute to the snark in this thread as much as the next person (and I'll likely damper that going forward because I'm not liking the tone this thread is shifting towards), but Mike's just expressing his opinions as we all are. He's entitled to them, and if you don't like his or anyone else's posts, ignore or block them.

That said, this album rollout isn't any different than a lot of other album rollouts nowadays these days so I really don't understand where the discontent about it other than the fact it's a super beloved band on this website.

You know what, everyone has changed my mind. I'm admitting I was wrong. The Palms album rollout is one of my favorites. I can't wait for the record. I'm surprised how much I love Only Us and The Grey. Hope the rest of the record is a nice surprise!

I remember when Vheissu leaked. I was at a friends house downloading the songs on Limewire or Kazaa.

The quality was so bad. I don’t know why I did that to myself.

I remember nothing about Vheissu's roll out other than buying it on release day and being really happy.

well I remember the release of "the image of the invincible" single as well.. so I guess I remember something. It's a shame thrice didn't give us a single with this album.. oh wait they've given us two, one with a music video.

Do you remember the Vheissu audio teaser the band gave fans? I think I still have it saved on my computer somewhere. It had clips of most of the songs. I remember it started slowly with the rhodes keys of Atlantic and then played a bit of that and cut to part of IOTI. Super cool!

I remember seeing them at Warped Tour where they debuted Image and The Earth Will Shake.

I was a dumb kid and i tried to explain how awesome the harmony part in The Earth Will Shake was to some friends.

I described it as a barbershop quartet. Mainly because i had just seen that Simpsons episode earlier in the day.

And then i heard the actual song and one of my friends was like “where is the barbershop quarter part?” And I just kinda slinked away.
