I would take Yellow Belly, Promises and Cataracts live over most Beggars sounds

 

The past two times I’ve seen them, there were no songs from Beggars in their set.

That’s my GOAT album, and it was devastatingly disappointing both shows. Okay, so, not devastating, but I was bummed.

 

The Weight / Promises should be a setlist staple.

 

That would be awesome. I was able to see them once when they did Melting Point of Wax and Daedalus back to back!

 

If they were going to put any beggars songs on their setlist I'd be happy with At The Last and the title track.

 

No songs from Beggars?

Hot-ish take, The Weight isn’t a top 5 Beggrs song for me

 

Same, it's hard to put it over All the World is Mad, Circles, At the Last, Double Speak and In Exile.

 

Replace Doublespeak with Beggars and you’ve got my top five from the album

 

Nothing from Beggars is in my top 5

 

A song or two from Beggars would make my top 5 Thrice songs. In fact, Circles may very well be my favorite Thrice song

 

I got a new found appreciation of Doublespeak after seeing it live. On the Beggars tour they played it back to back with Circles and it was magical. Even though I'd rather see other Full Album tours from them, I'd see Beggars in a heart beat just for that again (and also to finally see At the Last).

 

Getting to see Wood And Wire live back in 2016 was truly something special

 

A top five overall is too hard for this group. I mean, you need to have For Miles, Messenger, Burn the Fleet, Under a Killing Moon, Long Defeat, Hurricane and......see, I'm already past the limit.

 

Yip! It was so unexpected and translated so well live. That may have been my favorite set from them I've ever seen.

 

Yep I'd need at least a top 10

 

Yellow belly must be fun to play live or something they seemingly love to bust that song out any chance they get.

 

I bet it is, it sounds so good and is just a jam.

 

Yeah, Yellow Belly live is excellent.
