I feel like that is happening more and more. Any time I am in a theater I hear someone explaining something or asking something that should have been obvious to anyone paying attention.

 

It seems like it's widely accepted that media literacy is declining significantly

 

I feel like that has much wider societal implications beyond not being able to truly understand a movie. These people vote.

This was very powerful. The scene where his kids are in the river where the ashes are dumped in and the part where the grandma is grossed out by the flames in the background were very effective.

The parts showing Nazi high command business as usual like doctors doing physicals while we know this isn’t meant to last and at some point they have to as well.

 

Definitely would’ve liked to see this in theaters with good sound

 

All the gardening stuff hits harder once you learn rudolf höss posed as a gardener while in hiding before being captured by the allies.
