has been for months now, they haven't sent out any records this year basically (even with the subscription program) and every band who had released something here ended up self releasing/getting fucked over with records

yeah, not going for it. pretty fucked up to post a lot of those text screenshots without permission too

there's a reason that one of the most liked people in the scene is now basically blacklisted. it's not rocket science to figure out who's the liar here.

 

Imo to me the screenshots pretty much just confirm the abusive behaviour

 

yeah, sarah already commented on them and was basically like "these screenshots were picked and chosen and out of order, i stand by my statement"

 

yeah dont think those screenshots really help Nicoles case all that much and just kinda reinforce the emotionally manipulative accusations that Sarah has brought to light. this is a sad and messy situation and i sincerely hope its resolved in a way that all parties feel safe and satisfied. my heart goes out to Sarah and all the others who have been a victim of this emotional abuse

yeah, sarah was already brave enough to bring up the abuse and now to be publicly slandered with personal screenshots of the conversation is horrible. hope she's doing okay today, i know this must be the worst thing that could have happened and the incredibly valid reason a lot of victims stayed silent

 

yeah exactly this seems like such a slap in the face to her and really dampens my already fractured view of Nicole.

 

also, on a related note, see how even though nicole is a horrible abuser sarah still respected her gender identity. this is always important to keep in mind.

 

I really feel for what Sarah has been through clearly for a long period of time, and what she must be going through now. I also hope Nicole is able to get the help she needs because she is clearly not in a good place.

And also not to forget how terrible it must be for Katie rn seeing things about her personal life that she clearly hoped to keepprivate suddenly made public without her consent. Just...ugh

Wow, at the Sarah/Nicole stuff.

Not surprised at this point though, kind of assumed it was something like that since she got divorced and kicked out of the band.

I was getting some vibes a few years ago after a TWIABP show actually.....like between Katie and Nicole and how both of them were acting.....it seemed like things werent right. Subtle and hard to describe. But it's interesting after all these years having this come to light.

What's crazy is I went to this tour that's referenced in a lot of the messages regarding Posture touring with TWIABP. I remember there was definitely an odd atmosphere when Nicole and Katie were together. I didn't think anything of it then, but now it definitely makes a lot more sense.

 

Yeah, this isnt surprising....kind of adds up. Such a shame those tours and memories are all tainted for the band because of the actions of a couple toxic drunks.

 

That 8/18 release date is looking less likely :/
