Maybe announcing "plans" moving forward, including the EP and confirming a release window for the LP? Could also be the name of the tour haha. I don't know, I don't recognize that phrase as having anything to do with the EP either. But then again, the EP could be reimagined songs in addition to them being acoustic, so I wouldn't discount new lyrics being a part of the package. Either way, excited!

Damn, in a lot of ways it feels like the release run-up for NCTH wasn't even that long ago. Can't believe it's been almost two years. Time really does fly.

yeah theyre all at least 9s to me and I rarely listen to any of the albums front to back I just kinda listen to whatever song i feel like.

also shoutout to this bands b-sides like holy shit Me Vs The Highway, Slow Dancing With San Andreas, I Was Scared And I'm Sorry, My Life As Rob Gordon, even Its (Sort Of) A Pleasure To Meet You is a great song and it even ties in with Cardinals.

shame TGG era didnt have any b-sides although their cover of IIOI could kinda be considered one and frankly I like the bands take on it a lot more

Best b-sides of any band I can think of.
Couldn't believe I got to see them play San Andreas at a VIP session from the last tour. What a great song

There's an unreleased song from The Upsides sessions that one of the members said in an AP.net interview circa 2010 would be released with the planned compliation Six Dudes From The Keystone State. Except that project got cancelled and split into the remastered GSOI and Sleeping On Trash. Still bummed it never came out.

    It was never finished.

Most of our b-sides were written after the fact. Usually for bonus content. San Andreas, Leavenhouse, and that unfinished song are the only actual b-sides written and recorded at the same time. :x

changed opinion about the JJR thing and how it involves them or what?

Not necessarily but looking back I think the band, or at least Dan (idk the semantics of who did what), has done a lot of good re: donating to charity and awareness and stuff which I didn't give them enough credit for. I think the situation still sucked and the way it was handled on both sides could've been a lot better.

Will the 10 year shows ever be released? I always thought those were recorded

I always kind of figured this was the case. Lyrical content of The Upsides' and Suburbia's b-sides always felt like a segue to the next album.

i thought Leavenhouse was that b-side that was supposed to be on that compilation. huh, wild to know there was a song that was never finished.

Monday cant come soon enough I really, really hope its a new album teaser like the TGG teaser.

I fell asleep after school the day that teaser was released. I'll never forget waking up to 100+ texts from a bunch of people saying "OMG THE GREATEST GENERATION" with a link to that video. So I put headphones in and turned the video on. What a beautiful album teaser video. Hearing "IM SORRY I DONT LAUGH AT THE RIGHT TIMES" kick in got me all choked up.
I still watch that album trailer sometimes and I'll have just as big of a smile on my face then as I did the first time I saw it.

it was just cool watching the band like, writing/recording the songs as well. but yeah hearing There, There for the first time was fantastic

  24. I so vividly remember watching that trailer during study hall in senior year of high school with my friend in the library computer lab. Now I'm working on my masters, haha.

this band is one of the primary reasons i picked up a guitar, taught myself piano, and started writing my own music (which hopefully my EP will be coming out soon!) and thats just another thing I cherish.
