Hahaha yes. Exactly. Definition of forgettable.

Really digging Sister Cities, more so than NCTH.

I like both this album and the Underoath album :/ Definitely prefer Sister Cities by a wide margin, but I also like them for very different reasons.

The last two albums, yes. Just seems like everything else they have done. No progression.

More of a casual Failure fan. I just love Paramore’s self-titled and Copeland’s In Motion so much and he mixed those.

Anybody know where I can hear the bonus Acoustic track?

Didn't realize that was an option and bought a bundle instead :(

My setup was at high level. So I will change it to extreme.
P.S. I have listened to Sister Cities after Combat Sports by The Vaccines. So you can really tell the difference in between.

to me it all sounds fine, the only bit i wish was a little clearer is the vocals on the bridge of We Look Like Lightning. Some of the best lyrics on the record but hard to make out what they are

    If you don't, don't

So has anybody in the UK who ordered form their Kontraband store had their vinyl/book arrive yet? Because I haven't. Sadly I gave in and listened to the album before having the book to look at along with it. Suburbia will always be my personal favourite record of theirs, but I think that this is their most impressive work to date.

And what a way you won me over

I haven’t, and also haven’t heard anything from Kontraband either...

I only ordered a cd and t-shirt bundle, but haven't heard or received anything either. If it's the vinyl book that is causing the delay, that's even worse cause I haven't even ordered that. Beyond bad service.

I still have no news since release day when they told me about the delay BECAUSE I sent an email. I will re-email to ask for a time window. You'd think they'd keep us informed, but nah! Really pissed off I got that pleasure of flicking through the book taken away from me.

    Prestigious Prestigious

I want this to click more than it is. So far I really like the opener, Pyramids, Sister Cities, Lightning, and the closer, but everything else hasn't really hit me yet.

Hoping it sits better after I see them in London on Wednesday.

We Look Like Lightning is one of the weaker tracks imo, just doesn’t really do much for me

i ordered just the vinyl and it arrived on friday. the books are delayed though so if you ordered it as a bundle they probably wont send them out separately which sucks

We reach for the longest shadow

relistening to my favorites off NCTH and it literally makes me mad because these songs are so good, and the *MIXING* (Thanks Nick) really throws these songs for a loop. A Song For Ernest Hemingway should be a top 5 TWY song, it sounds completely inspired by the Fireworks / Hostage Calm tour they did.

I definitely feel like this album capitalized on what NCTH wanted to be. Besides just the mixing, there are moments in NCTH that I just find really jarring (the opening of Bluest Things, the feature on Stained Glass) that just end up making the album feel off to me, despite having some fairly high highs, and songs like Cigarettes & Saints definitely feel like a preview to a lot of what they do on Sister Cities

NCTH has become an great 7 song EP to me, and I really do enjoy listening to it that way. It just frustrates me that I think those songs could've easily sounded a lot better.

    A (Cancelled) Dork Prestigious

I kind of can't believe it's 2018 and we're still talking about JAB's feature on Stained Glass Ceilings with anything but praise. It's a fantastic moment that hits so hard and really reinforces the message of the song in a perfect way, especially coming from him.
