Yep, through Kontraband. Super annoying if I'm honest, and also doesn't fill me with confidence for the for the £50 preorder I've got for the Courtney Barnett record in June with them as well.

Hoping it just turns up without the confirmation being sent.

 

i think i paid for 1st class postage but not tracked so im hoping it just turns up. still would have thought theyd send out emails if it had been shipped though

 

I ordered through Hopeless (Europe) and have no confirmation of anything being sent either

 

Yeah Kontraband too and I didn't get a confirmation. Last time I ordered from them (Burst & Decay), I did get a despatch notice, a day before the release day, and it arrived on time on the release day, so, crossing fingers.

 

Urgh, see I didn't pay for first class I don't think, so might mean I have to wait even longer. Must be a location thing.

 

Looks like PA preorders will arrive tomorrow. Awesome! Excited to check out the book. Ive been holding out on listening until it's streaming. The independent stream was choppy between songs so I quit after a few songs.

Once "It Must Get Lonely" creeps into your head it really sticks around.
That might be my favorite vocal to date.
That is really the sweet spot for me and Dan's vocals.

My pre-order is coming today, ordered from Merchnow like 2 weeks after the announcement.

 

I still haven't gotten a notification that my order from Merchnow has shipped, so I'm kind of hoping that it just appears in the mail today or tomorrow. Although I'm not expecting that to happen

i'll do my best to not get banned, it's tough sometimes, really don't want to lose the entertainment value for y'all

 

I listened to most of this yesterday at the gym and liked the majority of songs. Kyoto, Sister Cities and Flowers were the standouts. I feel like the album kinda falls off towards the end a bit, but I need to hear those songs again. I will say that I don't agree with the statements about this being a masterpiece or opus or miles better/different than their last few albums. Some of the songs are good, some are bland. I will say that this is the first TWY album since The Upsides that I'm interested revisiting more than a few times, so maybe it'll grow on me more.

Thanks! I did check and it looks like it's preparing to ship sometime today. So, I probably won't get it tomorrow, but it's good to know that it's on the way

 

Still been holding off on listening until I get the book/vinyl. It's been fun to read everyone's thoughts though!

Got a shipping notification yesterday and it was Jersey this morning. Should get to me by Tuesday since I usd media mail shipping. Can’t wait to sit down with the book and listen to it.
