Yeah I agree, the last two albums had distinctly different feels while still feeling like they fit together but this song could have just been on the last one. I know it's just the first single though and I do still like it a lot

 

The songs he debuted so far is a good mix of the two albums imo

It's just a stream booster for charts, all the big artists do it these days and they usually aren't artistically interesting
