Episode title and synopsis were released for episodes 7 and 8. Pretty much confirms Carl and Negan will be the focus on episode 7 and the Spencer scene will be in episode 8

Yes please on ep 7 - If you dislike Negan so far then that episode will at least offer a glimpse at a different side of the man.

Not worried about him, it's the other character I couldn't care less about.

I'm with a few other people on here about Negan's antics and delivery. It's way over the top and each one of his lines are delivered exactly the same and it's getting kind of old. I'm honestly having a hard time believing that everyone is so afraid of him and that Rick wouldn't have tried to kill him in the many opportunities that he's already had.

To me, The Governor was a much, much better villain for several reasons. A) because he was more two-faced. His people saw him one way and his enemies saw the darker side of him. and more importantly B) let's not forget, Rick and his crew brutally murdered many of Negan's people last season, so Negan is getting his revenge. Rick's crew is lucky only two people have been killed after what they did to Negan's people last year. So, hard to feel bad for the situation they're in.

Losing interest fast, just like I did after awhile with the comics. The first few seasons (and comics) were pretty amusing. But after awhile it just becomes the same re-hashed story lines over and over again, just with different characters. Just my opinion.

I mean, I guess that's supposed to be part of Rick's development as a survivor. He's bolder and is willing to kill people before they've even actually done anything to his crew. So yeah, seeing that he was going down the same path as Negan, it's harder to feel bad for him. With The Governor, Rick was still in that transition phase where he was still a "good" guy for the most part, so you really were on his side against a manipulative villain... Now it's just like he's battling a version of himself in a way.

I agree with everything you said. But the build-up for Negan was this big bad evil guy who everyone is scared shitless of and it's almost laughable that Rick, or anyone from their crew, didn't take him out when they had dozens of chances. If it were any other character, they would have been dead a long time ago. Negan's own people are intimidated by him, so if someone took him out, I don't think there'd be that much of an uproar about it. People are getting killed every single day in this world and Rick and his crew are all bent out of shape that two of their own died? As I said earlier, they're lucky Negan just didn't blast them all when he had the chance after what Rick's crew did to his crew. And now that Negan has all of Alexandria's weapons, what good are they? Negan has taken it extremely easy on Rick and his people. It's hard for me to believe that Rick is so afraid of him after everything they've been through since the beginning of the apocalypse.

And to add to that, I don't see why he even keeps Rick around after seeing Alexandria. He was so impressed by it and already got their guns, so what does he even need them alive for? If he kills Rick and the rest of the crew wants revenge, what are they really going to do about it? He keeps them alive for more food I guess?

Is there any idea of how much from the comic this season will cover? Is this season going to be first half What Comes After and second half March to War, and season 8 will be All Out War parts 1 and 2 for the entire season, and then we'll get the 2 year timejump in season 9? or will we see What Comes After and March to War in the first half of this season and All Out War parts 1 and 2 for the second half and we'll get the 2 year timejump in season 8?

Idk why I wind up on the opposite of everyone's opinion. I like this season off the bat 10x's more than last season.

I don't mind this season either. it's always the group attacking others with a few casualties on their side, usually minor characters, and they've been the... overdogs? for a while now and were getting all cocky. interesting to see the dynamic shift. I guess I'm indifferent to it so far

Nothing new for Riggs. His hair might even be longer then Enid's now.

Some dialogue with Gregory was bad. Not a fan of that actor. Jesus talks to Gregory like he's his dad. It was my least favorite part besides Coral. Everything else I liked and was sad for Sasha and Maggie :( though she is becoming a stone cold woman!

Best part was Maggie saying her name.

And I'm actually pretty excited for some Heath and Tara next episode.

Maybe Jesus and Carl will run into Daryl and Jesus can teach them both about proper haircare cause he's the only guy that's even making an attempt rn
