It became available on AMC+ this past Sunday morning, it’ll premiere on the actual AMC channel this upcoming Sunday evening.

I thought the episode was meh. I agree Maggie was a highlight, and Daryl finally reuniting with Connie had me smiling big. The Meridian and Alexandria storylines felt like wheel-spinning all through 11A, and the latest episode didn't justify spending all that time on them/ make their cliffhangers from October worth the wait, but I'm glad the Commonwealth will be the primary focus now.

Very curious to see what they do with Negan too.

I hate that some people are watching every episode a week early with AMC+. Gotta stay out of the thread until the season is done I guess.

I agree, the episode did not live up to the hype I have seen elsewhere.

The Alexandria storyline has amounted to very little, the whole Judith/Aaron thing was such a waste of time. Don't even get me started on how a one armed man hanging to a pipe tied a rope

S11E10 was so good. I'm here for TWD mainly being a political drama for the rest of the season. Also very happy that it seems Rosita will get a decent arc.

Andrew Lincoln has been spotted with Norman Reedus. Could just be a trans-Atlantic get together or….

Interesting plot threads going here after that episode. I assume Negan taking off is for that spin off tales of the walking dead show?

I believe Negan will reappear at Commonwealth.

He lived close to Commonwealth in the last issue of the comic. Carl would drop food off for him.

It seems like a lot of people are enjoying the Commonwealth story coming into focus.
Seems like it is just as messed up as every other place we have seen.

I am down for a Mercer & Daryl bromance

It dawned on me last night that I haven't watched The Walking Dead in literally 22 months. Maybe the break I needed, because I decided to start Part 1 of Season 11 last night. Watched the first three episodes and thought it was really good.

Totally forgot Maggie came back, haha. And had no clue who most of the characters were that are with her.

Also, I never watched the six bonus episodes (and don't plan to)...is that needed for Season 11?

I'd read recaps. Some of them tell the stories of what people have been up to (like Maggie). One focuses on Daryl and his past, which ties in with the lady Reaper, which I think you've seen so far. One is about Negan and his wife Lucille.

I’m all caught up. I would have been super pissed if I had to wait 4 months to see what happened at the end of episode 8. That was almost as bad as the Negan cliffhanger in season 6.

Also the 6-month time jump in the final seconds of episode 9 felt super bizarre.

That said, really enjoying S11 but I think that’s mostly because I was able to binge it all this far. We’ll see how the week to week goes now.

I could be totally wrong, but didn’t they say there were like 50,000 people at Commonwealth?

Just finished S11E11. Episode was a bit uneven, but Josh Hamilton as Lance Hornsby sure is perfect casting. I’m also delighted to see Lauren Ridloff getting more attention this season.

Up to date now, I didn't really enjoy this episode.

Eugene has been around long enough that I should be more invested in his storyline, however he just doesn't do much for me. I had read spoilers regarding Stephanie, so it was an anti-climax and an incredibly drawn out one at that.

I liked it, but moving in fast forward speed now. Trying to introduce a rich vs poor plot when you only have 13 episodes left seems adventurous

As long as the Commonwealth storyline remains the main focus from here onwards (with maybe one episode that goes on a tangent), I’m confident they can move through it in a way that doesn’t feel rushed.

Do the comics end at Commonwealth? Like, are we at the end game of the comics? Or is there still another storyline out there (comics-wise)?

Near the end, yeah. There's 32 volumes and i think they appear in the late 20s or volume 30.

I just worry with so many spinoffs planned and the films planned, we're never really going to get an end of the story for TWD, which is going to be a real shame that people spent 11-12 years watching this show and there probably won't be any real finality to the storyline and/or any of it's main characters.

People on Reddit think that the Carol/Daryl spin off is just a smoke screen because they'll put Daryl in Ricks comic ending.

I like the show in its own regard but there has been a few things i wish i'd seen on screen like carl growing up specifically. There is definitely scope to do more in the Walking Dead universe which is exciting but also scary to diverge on.
