Trader Sam's might be the best lounge on property

I follow @DrunkAtDisney and his band of merry drunks on Twitter so I get the news on every new bar/lounge on property lol

While we do most of our Disney drinking in Epcot (for obvious reasons), I enjoy resort drinking so much more. Epcot is a lot of drinking on the go, with the exception of Cava Del Tequila and Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. Most places in Epcot get pretty rowdy so we don’t stay in one spot too long. Trader Sam’s and Tambu Lounge in Polynesian are both excellent (though Tambu can get pretty rowdy at dinner time as it’s where most folks who have ‘Ohana reservations wait to get seated). Ale & Compass lounge in Yacht Club, Gurgling Suitcase in Old Key West, & River Roost in PO Riverside are all great spots as well.

I’m so damn excited for trader sams. We haven’t been able to secure an Ohana reservation but I kinda don’t even care cause we’ll just hang at trader sams?

I definitely won’t. Should be a bit hard because we will be there Easter week / opening anniversary, but as long as the blockout dates aren’t too wild we can come and go as much as we want the week we are in town.

I've been to Disney World the past three years around Halloween time, but my friend, who lives in AZ just asked if I wanted to do DL. So in April, I'll be making my first trip to Land! For the locals, a day and a half more than enough time, right? I'm going to fly in Friday night, and do the park Saturday and Sunday. But I'll probably leave early both days to do LA stuff (Howlin Rays, bowling, etc.). Then Monday maybe just go to the beach before flying out that night.

  15. Depends on how much you love Disney parks. This itinerary gives me hella anxiety.

wonder if HS will re-do the tiers, or if they're just gonna toss Smugglers Run in there with TS Mania and Slinky Dog

It took nearly 5 months to have demand for Smuggler's Run be at a reasonable enough level to be added to FP+ - surely the RotR demand has helped that, but that means we likely cannot anticipate RotR being FP+-accessible until at least mid to late summer or even fall. Wildness.

I'm going to DL in April, I really hope I can get on RotR.

i'm not generally an anxious person, i don't get claustrophobic, and when we visit WDW we typically are early risers, but idk just the thought of having to get to the park at 5am to wait around in a group of literally thousands of other people sounds absolutely terrible.

They bumped something from Tier 1 but I can't remember what it was, wasn't Slinky Dog though

    TOT or RnR?

There are now only 2 T1 attractions in HS (according to post today by disney tourist blog) Smugglers Run and Slinky Dog Dash...meaning RnR, ToT, and TSM are all able to be booked together.
