um YEAH haha if they take away TOT at WDW I will seriously riot

 

There's a rumor that a Guardians ride is going to be built in Epcot to replace the Universe of Energy :/

 

that would make a lot of sense actually. I have heard rumors that that ride is getting replaced, did not hear the full extent though. Would much prefer that to Tower of terror...

 

But like, what does GOTG have to do with the theme of Epcot? Also, what does GOTG have to do with the theme of old timey Hollywood at California Adventure

 

...there's a lot of space theming in Epcot lol


edit: and the california adventure thing is addressed because they will be expanding a superhero presence there. I think they will capitalize on all the hero stuff in that park.

 

They are all examples of technology and the future though

I'm excited for it. Should be fun. Still think it's a bit of an odd choice, but I'm into it.

 

Yeah it looks like it won't be super intrusive to Liberty Square (hopefully). Adding a little weirdness into an area that doesn't really have any isn't really a bad thing

 

Kings Island (my local park) is announcing a new coaster tonight.

I loved that ride, even though I felt like I was beaten in the head with a lead pipe.

 

Today in the rumor mill...

 

The blackout dates are lifted for passholders but I haven't paid my bill in 2 months so Disneys pretty mad at me :/

 

It makes me so happy that this thread exists. I was just about to go create one when I saw this... I practically live another life on other sites as a theme park and roller coaster enthusiast lol. Anyone been out to Carowinds to check out Fury 325?

BREAKING: News About the Nintendo and Universal Partnership

 

I typically don't go to "the other side of the tracks" to Universal when I'm down at Disney, but the Nintendo park might convince me to do so.

 

I wonder where they will put it, HP is taking over lots of land in FL.

 

Hopefully they have an huge Pokemon Center. The Nintendo store in NYC ain't cutting it.

 

I have a feeling Orlando will be saying bye to Fear Factor and MIB. Because I have no idea what else could go, haha.

 

I think they might knock down the Woody Woodpecker/Barney play areas as well as the animal show theater. I don't know what that would mean for ET though...

 

I completely forgot that part even exists. I only go through it during HHN. I think they're renovating it right now though so I doubt they'd take it out that soon.
