I wanna go see my boy Chucky’s house

 

Welp, I'm not big on horror stuff but we love TLOU.

Our Disney trip is 9/27-10/4…with the 29th as our rest day. We’re gonna tack on an extra $200 and go!

 

Going to Knott's on Friday. We're not really coaster/extreme ride people anymore, what are some fun things to do otherwise?

 

Went to Dorney Park for the first time in years today. Really impressed!

 

That’s the park closest to my house. It’s clean but in dire need of some new attractions. Supposedly they are building a new (small) coaster next year.

 

Yeah, it's pretty much all the same bigger attractions from the last time I went ten years ago or so. I was more impressed about the volume of good rides for my seven year old - we generally go to Six Flags, and that doesn't really compare in that department.

 

Zamperla doing the Top Thrill Dragster re-do is... a choice.

 

I believe they just did a recent rehab on another Intamin coaster in Europe.

 

Seems problematic.

 

Wow. That could have been really, really bad.

 

I still can’t believe Universal will likely build an entire theme park in the time it took Disney to build a 45 second roller coaster. If they move forward with Pokémon at IOA that would be huge.

Right now what else is Disney working on besides a reskin of Splash Mountain and a decorative garden in Epcot.

 

I’d love to see Zelda at IOA, Pokemon at studios, and the first expansion at epic universe be a Luigi’s Mansion dark ride

 

They’re working on 10 Disney+ originals and will pull at least 7 of them from streaming within 10 months of release

 

Here for this. I’m interested to see how the Monsters Dark Ride pans out. Other than Forbidden Journey, dark rides haven’t been their thing. I heard Secret Life of Pets is decent though.

 

Me too. Really hoping they knock it out of the park with that entire classic monsters land because it sounds like very much my shit lol

Yeah the rumor for years has been Pokemon at Studios replacing Kidzone and Zelda at IOA replacing Lost Continent.

I think the strategy is definitely to stretch the Nintendo IP across all 3 parks like they're doing the HP.

 

Seems like it’s a DreamWorks land replacing KidZone at Studios, but you’re right, I do think they’re bound to incorporate a Nintendo IP somewhere there eventually
