yeah I think they'll announce multiple things new, but i don't think it will be anything huge. I'm predicting they're going to chill on new attractions that will require them to build entirely new infrastructure and focus on refurbing/re-theming existing attractions on the cheap for awhile.

I wanna say Jim and Len seemed to think they are about to fast track a bunch of stuff since Epic Universe is on the horizon.

They really should add like 2 or 3 c or d ticket attractions to each park that are people eaters to help spread out the crowds.

Disney Dish has a pretty good track record lately of making correct predictions. If they don't have an answer to Epic Universe, Disney might be in trouble.

Disney not having anything to compete with Hogsmeade opening is basically patient zero to every parks decision good or bad for the last decade.

Honestly I was the under the assumption that the Epcot overhaul was their attempt at an answer to Epic Universe. So yeah I think they're in trouble.

There might be a chance they'll announce Zootopialand replacing Dinoland in AK as a longterm project to get people hyped but i don't think that would be finished for a couple years after EU opens, the one in China isn't even finished and that got announced years ago.

Disney is still the magical place families save up for years to go to. The Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan might get old to repeat guests but based on the way the prices keep going up that is not their primary audience.

the in house cyber security training jokingly tells you multiple times to not make your password Disney1! and I find it hard to believe that a shocking number of passwords in the company are some variation of that.

My wife and I were there in January and it was miserable. The safari broke down while we were in line, then we rode the pandora flying ride. It was too cold for the rapids and the dinosaur ride was closed. There were far too many people there with nothing to do so we left after only a couple of hours. Huge waste of money and I absolutely love Disney.

Yea add crying kids into the mix and this was my day. The only saving grace is no one knows where the Jofferys is there so the line for iced coffee was super short.

Finally got to take our Disneyland + Universal trip after two years of booking and re-booking it. Some thoughts:

    * Staying at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City + Universal Express made such a huge difference with a six year old. The ten minute walk was so clutch, and I don't think we waited in a line all day. (Plus the $300 off at the Hilton from a credit card reward really helped with our budget.)

    * Only noteworthy ride at Universal was HP and the Forbidden Journey. I rode it many years ago in Florida, and it was riddled with technical problems. This time, though, it was pretty incredible. My daughter loved the Jurassic World ride, so that was pretty cool. Everything else was fine to good (with the exception of Flight of the Hippogriff, which is awful).

    * A few days before our trip, I checked Touring Plans, which told me to expect crowds of a "3" or "4" at Disneyland and California Adventure. They both turned out to be a "9" on the days we went. Whoops. Genie+/Individual Lightning Lanes turned out to be a lifesaver. (Take my money, Disney. All of it.)

    * Rise of the Resistance ruled. Really enjoyed California Adventure and wish we had scheduled two days there instead of two at Disneyland, but alas. Splash Mountain at night was great, too, and was only a fifteen minute wait without Genie+ at around 9:00! I had only heard negative things about the new Spider-Man ride, but it was pretty fine.

    * We didn't do much interacting with characters, but the cast members who played Scarlet Witch/Moana/Mirabel were incredible and really made my daughter's whole week. Couldn't believe how little we had to wait for those, either.

    * Five rides or so were down in Fantasyland on our second morning there. With the heavy crowds, it was a reallllll struggle for the rest of that day, especially in the heat.

Working on planning a trip to Epcot (been to the other three Florida ones), but I might just wait a few years on that one. Still have to visit Six Flags this summer since we have season passes, but haven't been this year.

I know it's just a billboard but it's pretty iconic at this point to WDW fans and it just feels like another blow in a long line of blows

Man I just got so excited when I saw it a few weeks back. Such a nostalgia item. Though I mean entirely pointless and I’m sure a waste to maintain.
