One of the best comic book films of all time

 

tony, this isn’t even the best DCEU movie, let alone one of the best DC movies overall lol

when did the cult of Gunn start, it’s so baffling

 

Yeah this movie is fine lol. I enjoyed it enough but it’s probably not even a top 10 comic book movie

 

Can't make those kinda claims when THE SNYDER CUT exists

 

I really enjoyed this

 

it’s been than super and GOTG2, for sure, but those are two of the worst movies i’ve ever seen lol. it isn’t as good as GOTG.

 

It’s easily the best DC movie since The Dark Knight. By a lot.

 

i don't know about "a lot" but i'm blanking on a dc movie released between '08 and now that's better than this. only wonder woman and lego batman come close if at all

 

Oh yeah Lego Batman was incredible

 

it really, really is not. birds of prey and shazam are both better than this and neither of those are, like, the godfather lol

If this is one of the best comic book movies of all time then I am very glad I did not get into either Marvel/DC CUs lol

 

Definitely gonna watch it again on HBO Max this week.

 

I only watched half of BoP. My fiance and I thought it was boring

Love this, Wonder Woman, and Shazam, though. That's about it since TDK.

 

none of these movies are good. talk about splitting hairs.

 

Birds of Prey is definitely my favourite DCEU movie, hoping this is as good or better. Going to see it now.

 

bop is really good, if it has one thing over gunn squad it's that margot/harley is better in her own movie

 

"No, Bruce Wayne lives in my attic" is one of the best distillations of the character of Batman they've done. Up there with the lasso of truth thing where he has to give his real name and he says Batman because, unlike all the other Supes, he literally is Batman and Bruce Wayne is just a character he plays when he can't be Batman
