I have the same issue with KOYO and how they Stan hard for Regulate/toured with NP. Fuck that noise.

i think you are switching them around, the boring so far is boring live, they just stand in place while parker walks around, no pressure are super energetic live. parker actually gets into it. I've seen NP once and TSSF 8 or 10 times by now and yah they are the boring ones live. the kids get more into than the band. also no pressure sounds nothing like old TSSF , its faster and poppier (and better imo) i like em fast and fun!

not to me, i never liked tssf or the way parker sang on their first couple albums. i think he sounds better now and i like the music NP does, its addicting, i can listen to it over and over. its a good mix of pop punk with a hardcore tinge thrown in.

 

im pretty sure thats what they are going for haha its simple and fun, at least he gets into it and looks like hes enjoying it. caught them in may and ive never seen parker so energetic!

 

The boring so far is the lamest thing I've ever heard. And just because they're energetic doesn't mean they can't still be boring live. All the songs sound the same, and Parker isn't the best singer and gets out of breath so easily so it just sounds not great. I just saw them at Sound and Fury and it was one of the most tedious sets I sat through all weekend.

 

the story so far has been boring EVERY time ive seen them, the crowd rages and the band all just stand in the same place LOL they look like they are learning their parts every show i ever saw them as. i dunno how they got to where they were with a live show like that, the last time i saw them was in 2018 opening for coheed and TBS and people just talked through their set it was so boring. i can only attest from experience but ive seen them at least 10 times since i first saw them in 2011 and its always been lackluster. its more fun to watch the crowd then the band. you saw NP once at a festival. bands have off shows you know. PLUS if you went into it expecting nothing good from it, you are gonna have a bad time. i was stoked to see them this year and i had a blast. they played a long set, with a couple covers thrown in, and he didnt lose his voice or anything. it was a solid performance from parker and the band.

 

NP ain’t shit compared to even old TSSF. I have no doubt they both suck live, but on record, TSSF is way better.

 

NP sucks because they have a rapist in the band. Game over.

TSSF is really good live but in more of a "wow they are incredible musicians" way. I could honestly care less if they jump around and stuff.

 

It’s always just been super weird to me when a high energy band with a very high energy crowd look like they’re going to fall asleep on stage lol

they really were pretty boring live tbh, the crowd is incredible though so i guess it evens out
