Bask is good. I didn’t think Northern Orthodox was the strongest first song out of the gate. Maybe better in an album context, but not a single.

 

It was released so long ago that I feel maybe it was just the only one they had done at the time.

 

I guess because they talked about it being a bit more of a concept or based on dreams it felt like part of a greater selection of songs. You could be right that it was the only one recorded. Plus they had said they hoped it was out by late summer last year, but obviously wanted more time and budget for production.

 

"Bask" is so good! This album keeps getting better, and that review has got me pumped.

 

I just really hope we get to hear it sooner rather than later this week. Want to give this some good spins on my commute. Till then I will have the Out of Service album to keep me busy.

 

Well we are in the week before release and tomorrow is exactly a week before release so maybe tomorrow? Either way I’m just listening to TROW discography all day everyday until we get it. There’s actually a lot of material once you add up all the b sides and EPs and bonus songs etc.

 

SO READY FOR THIS ALBUM.

Birdless Cage is flawless. Sounds soooo different then all the other singles though so I really wonder if it’s changed. Even though the track length is the same.

 

It does sound perfect. But nah, I don't see why you would change it when it already sounds the way it does.

Yeah it's kinda weird it hasn't but the wording on their indiegogo campaign just says in the week preceeding. It coming out next Tuesday would be nice to get it a week in advance.

 

haha you understand now why I didn't want it to come out yesterday :)...but yea I just really want to hear this thing, think its gonna be absolutely phenomenal!!

 

Haha yeah, it dawned on me after you said you didnt want it cause of personal reasons. Me too man, after Thrice there is no band for me that I feel the same about except for The Republic of Wolves, I really do hold them to that high of a regard personally.
