why is it that whenever I’m very busy that everyone I know wants to hit me up but when I’m free it’s fucking crickets?

 

ha this kind of fits with what I was about to post - almost every day this week at like 4:55 some coworkers start chatting with me about random not work stuff and before I know it’s like 5:15-5:30. Why are you chatting now??? It’s 5, log off, we could have shot the shit all day, I don’t want to at 5 lol

 

I'm watching a show about people who didn't realize they're close to a murderer or whatever. It's so frustrating when they're like "I was shocked! Had no idea! Except we got engaged after knowing each other for 3 weeks and I was just so happy to not be single that I ignored 1000 obvious red flags." I know hindsight is 20/20 but I'm not sure a single episode has been that surprising the dude turned out to be a murderer.

 

I wonder if the electric car will lead to the demise of NASCAR

 

Sometimes I think I would be good at being a famous person, based on absolutely nothing. I have no skill set and I'm not a bombshell beauty or anything but like they say, nobody is ugly just poor, so that could be fixed. I would pick my red carpet outfits from vintage archives and I would comment on online posts about me pretending to be a hater or spead weird harmless rumors about myself. I would be self-deprecating and charming in interviews and become best friends with Hugh grant. And then once I amass my wealth I'd be like dolly Parton or MacKenzie Scott and just donate it all. I'd also pretend to be drunk at celeb functions to get all the dirt and then write a tell-all memoir before I die

 

I wish Qdoba had done better in North Florida. I think there’s one in Orlando but none even remotely close to me

I felt like shit the entire day. I couldn’t sleep at all last night. Therefore I was super groggy today and could not even take a nap. I had laundry I needed to do but couldn’t start bc how I felt. Also unable to go grocery shopping. I was ticked that the bank was closed bc I needed to deposit a check and don’t trust the mobile app (I thought that location was open on Sat). There’s only one location close to me that’s open for a couple hours on Saturday, but I’m not in the mood to go back there since last time I was there I was treated so poorly by the manager/supervisor whoever they were. And that was a Saturday when I went there so im not trying to see her again.
Woes of being single I complain about but I feel like I have legit reason. When I feel like shit, no one to help grocery shopping or picking me up some food. What a miserable life

 

Those Smeg kitchen appliances are cute except the word Smeg is foul and I'd never want that in big letters across all my stuff.

I work in a not so great area. Like every store has been broken into in the building. As long as I been at my job no one has broken in yet

 

I thought Amazon would’ve taken over a lot more by now

 

that’s not at all to say they haven’t taken over but that I thought it might be somehow worse than it is

No matter what, my cotton tshirts always smell weird like they’re not clean. I even tried that laundry cleanser. Anyone have tips?

 

Have you tried adding regular ol baking soda to your wash?

 

I have not. What does that do differently? And would I put that in the drum or in the dispenser?
None of my other laundry does this with the smell and I use the same detergent

 

Just sprinkle a couple tablespoons in the drum, it just generally neutralizes odor and freshens without chemicals or perfumes. Worth a shot as it's cheap and won't harm your clothes.

 

When Anne Marie tendler was clearly joking about taylor swift stealing her art for the Eras tour but then rabid swifties came for her so she explained it was facetious but then swifties said she just lied and backtracked because of the negative flak she receieved... that's my Roman empire. I will shout it from the rooftops lol. I'm not saying it was a good or funny joke even. But it was clearly not serious at all and that was very obvious by the context and I still see people slam her and bring it up from time to time and I don't even have a horse in the race. Idk Anne Marie like that. I just know she was married to John Mulaney and makes lamp shades. But every time I see it (which isn't frequently anymore because it was a while ago and Anne Marie isn't in the news much) I feel like I have to defend because it seems so obvious to me!!
