Milo had a scary day today. He tried to pull himself up on a tv tray and ended up toppling it on himself. He was super freaked out but we rushed him to the pediatricians and they checked him out and he’s fine thankfully, but not fun.

sometimes all that happens is that they get super scared. our daughter trips all the time, doesn't get hurt at all, but freaaksss out lol

It’s also all about how you react. Whenever my sons trip or fall we purposely don’t say anything until they react

I'm not ashamed to say that when my kid falls I laugh at him and he laughs back. Usually, haha.

Anyone in here use the Snoo before? Got one used a few months back, gonna try the motion out tonight after a couple fussy nights with it turned off.

We tried it and my kid hated it, his two best friends used it and worked great though, definitely feels like a kid to kid basis

I couldn’t be more loyal to the Snoo. That thing saved my life.

First night was absolute magic lol. Had to wake him up twice after four hours straight of sleep just to feed him. Wife and I got like 10 hours of sleep total

We used it for our third after really struggling with her in a crib and it was a game changer. She's since out grown it, but falls asleep in crib by herself. It was amazing.

We were also able to resell it for exactly what we paid via Facebook Marketplace which was nice.

Oh, for anyone considering the Snoo who stumbles in here, they have a rental program which is a solid option if it's crazy expensive for you.

That's exactly what I did, but through baby quip which rents a bunch of baby gear including snoo

Happened to get a ten day break between trips and was unlucky enough to bring the flu home with me from this last one. I felt fine but my captain was sick the entire trip. So I’ve spent the entire time taking care of my wife and son. She’s finally feeling better but he is definitely in the “please cut off my nose” stage of the sinus stuff still. Finally getting a ton of mucus out today, so hopefully better tomorrow.

On the positive side of things, walking clicked for him two days ago, and he is damn near running already. Crazy. He just runs around yelling “CAT” while following our cats around.

They are really good for fostering their movement! People without them are missing out!

They’ve helped with tummy time/crawling/walking so much

My poor cat gets chased around the house like crazy. Dude is a speed demon while crawling and just took his first steps this week.

so we're starting potty training this weekend. apparently our daughter is at the perfect age and showing signs. I didn't know the policy is to basically have them be naked for several days and let them pee wherever!!!

    anyone had words of encouragement?

Wish I had something more helpful but we started probably a little late so I think, because of that, it made it a little easier.

But basically he was kind of on a schedule of when he was going potty, so we kind of had an idea of when he was going (especially poop), but for pee we just made it a point of asking him if he felt like he had to go. Then we'd sit him the toilet to see if he'd go, and do that multiple times a day every few hours. Eventually he started telling us he wanted to go potty on the potty so lol

We tried that with our first and she peed on a basket of toys almost immediately and so we stopped doing it

Our son is still in diapers currently, but will walk over and into his dinosaur pop-up thing to poop. It’s hilarious. You can be playing and he’ll just stop and walk over.

I haven’t looked into potty training yet but he’s just about 15 months, so I probably need to start reading up on it.

Yeah surprisingly with our oldest he never pooped his pants or pooped anywhere else. Though he had many pee accidents. Our youngest is showing signs he wants to learn
