    let's goooooo

wonder if the record I pre-ordered is this version or the original

  3. Fun fact, Adeem was the first artist I worked with for AbsolutePunk. Literally picked out of our "mailbag" just based on the RIYL. Did an interview and a review for several records that are no longer on streaming back when they went by a different name. It's been very cool to see them glow-up over time.

Yeah, the Ryan Adams share on his story the other day caught me off guard.

there’s no way anyone in the music industry doesn’t know about what went down there.

Brought Me is easily my favorite of the 3 singles so far. That chorus is going to be stuck in my head for days.

Highly recommend this new Florry album. Just saw it described as basement bar country, and that seems pretty accurate. Just a fun album.

fuck me, I just now listened to the new Turnpike songs and these guys did not miss a beat. Man it's good to have them back. Hearing Evan's voice again was like slipping on an old, cozy, broken in jacket. Granted I'd heard it earlier this year on that Dropkick Murphys feature he did, but, to hear him with Turnpike again was just *Italian chef hand*

Didn't know what to expect from the (Healed Version), but a live piano ballad works.

How Do I Do This is a great coda. Didn't really think an extended Interlude added too much.

  20. I’ve heard this song before but it’s been years; was never on any of his studio albums. Anyway it’s one of the best songs anyone’s ever written, no big deal

There are a couple of songs on The Horses and The Hounds that I think are just as strong as "Lights of Cheyenne", "Canola Fields" absolutely being one of them, "Jackie" being another. But the entire album is great. Love the closer. "Decent Man" is such a gut punch. Incredible album.

Caught Thomas Rhett/Cole Swindell/Nate Smith in OKC last night… I forgot how funny it is to call them “country” these days as it was a full-on rock/pop show. Thomas killed it, Nate was a great opener, and Cole’s set was damn near flawless track selection-wise, but man did he sound rough.

    Edit: Not Cole Seinfeld... lololol
