which formats did you go for? i got CD and vinyl (because i'm not gonna wait a month for digital when i can just rip a CD), and neither have shipped yet, so i'm assuming orders with multiple formats aren't going out yet.

 

I bought the cassette too (why? I have no idea)

don’t care for the closer and ufo is whatever.

 

Maybe it's because I lived in and hated LA, but the closer is one of my favs haha

 

I would enjoy it more in theory if it didn’t close out the record honestly. If that makes any sense.

His music has definitely matured and evolved, but BLG has some damn bangerz

Both. His voice has definitely matured as he got older but also it fits the sound.

I remember watching some live stream a couple of years ago where they were rehearsing some old BLG songs and he was like "why did I sing all this shit so damn high".

 

I've spun the record a few times. I love it. Beautiful Strangers is easily my favorite. I Feel Like Dancing and Magic Trick were on repeat for me awhile. Companion and Dancing In Heaven are my least favorite but they're not bad. Both have great lyrics but not my favorites.

 

"Our Generation" and "I Feel Like Dancing" are the only two tracks I really like on this. The beat/groove on "Our Generation" is fireee

my copy finally showed up today (was in shipping limbo for whatever fucking reason). this shit is awesome. only on my second listen, but there's a lot to chew on here.

 

The debut was alright but this is a huge step up IMO

 

“Our Generation” is absolutely ridiculous in the best way.

 

Catchy, funny, and completely out there
