As much as I like Alligator, the production drives me nuts.

 

i reeeeeally need to listen to High Violet more i want to love it as much as everyone else seems to

 

the right answer is pick any of the last five albums because any one of them will make you want to listen to the other four immediately

 

TWFM and High Violet are the only albums I truly adore by this band so far (SWB is already creeping up there as well), but Boxer still continues to grow on me. I only heard Boxer for the first time in full a few months ago. Alligator is alright, but it hasn't really clicked with me outside of a few songs. I hope it'll get there someday.

 

i love that the first line of this album "You said we're not so tied together" references the last line on Boxer in Gospel "Darling, can you tie my string?"
