Tropic Morning News reminds me of Ben Howard for some reason. Got New Order Tshirt on repeat though. Love this band.

New songs are decent, prob an improvement on the last album but not too hard (IMO).

Feel like the trio of Boxer-HV-TWFM is going to be hard to ever beat or get close to again. And it was so good that it's hard to let go of the band even though the last couple haven't done much for me.

Name a band who has had a better nonconsecutive run than Sad Songs > Alligator > Boxer > TWFM > SWB > IAETF. You can’t.

^ That’s why I trust them on whatever chill vibe party they’ve cooked up on FTPoF.

The fact you included IAETF and not HV is just insane

HV brought in the Bloodbuzz Boyz into the fandom and they’ve run amok, trying to sully the reputation of every record that has come after it. Even if HV was a great record, it wouldn’t be worth that cost.

That's their shtick apparently. Also bold putting IAETF in there.

I mean I think there’s definitely an argument to be made if people prefer The National’s run? They are both two of the best bands out there and are both incredibly consistent.

Quick, someone rank every Radiohead & The National album.

(I’d do it, but I don’t care about either band’s full discography, sorry.)
