Surprisingly, I'm just going to say "agree" to this list. Pretty rare that happens haha.

I really enjoy this overall. I remember seeing Anberlin, Further Seems Forever (with Jason on vox) and The Movielife play in 2003 at Irving Plaza.

"Ghosts In The Photographs" came on during shuffle in my car and before I recognized who it was I immediately thought "why aren't there any bands making music like this anymore" and then realized it was Movielife and became impressed that they could recreate that sound so well

I've given 'Pour Two Glasses' a pre-emptive add to my Spotify Xmas playlist. This album is growing on me a lot the more listens I give it.

 

Vinnie and Brandon on Going Off Track was great. I never knew Eddie Reyes was a founding member of TML.

 

Just listening to this now. It's really good.

After their show the other night, I talked to Brandon a little bit about how I used to listen to Nightmare Of You's first album all the time. He told me that he quietly released a new solo EP this year that he said is in the same vein as that first NOY album. I just checked it out, and he wasn't kidding. The EP rules!

 

Oh so you'll listen to Brandon but not me, I SEE HOW IT IS

Haha just messin with ya. I definitely would say this EP is the closest to NOY material I've heard from him in a LONG time

 

So this is all I've been listening to lately. Kind of funny that I was disappointed at first, but I'm loving this now. Vinnie's voice will always hit me in a way few others can.
