Power Trip tonight with Iron Reagan - my body is ready

 

Both bands were so, so good last night. Both bands put on some of the best sets I've seen recently. Get there early enough for Call of the Void if you can as well.

 

RE: The posts in this thread about a month ago about Hail of Bullets.

Complaining about Martin not being in the band anymore doesn't matter anymore because it looks like they've decided to throw in the towel.

Both Iron Reagan and Power Trip are playing here soon, but I wish they were on the same bill here.

 

Damn that tour is going through Tacoma which is like 40 mins south of here and is kinda sketchy

Sucks about Hail of Bullets but honestly I just wasn't that interested anymore anyway without Martin. Yeah, David Ingram is great and it would've been cool if they kept going but Martin was the real history buff in that band and his distinct voice was part of the band's identity imo.

Power Trip & Iron Reagan - that was the most bananas show I've ever been to. Saw a guy do several backflips off the stage into the crowd!

 

I need a Power Trip/Iron Reagan/Toxic Holocaust tour to happen pls

 

Even the Iron Reagan guys were remarking how crazy the crowd was

 

Saw that Carnifex tour on Friday. Every single band killed it, even Fallujah who had just traveled 40 hours from Australia to hop back on the tour. They were the band I had listened to the least, yet I enjoyed them the most.

 

Really regret missing Power Trip come thru this week

God. If there's one thing I hate about where I live it's that tours never fucking come through here because I live in a minor metropolitan area that is surrounded by Middle Of Bumfuck Nowhere in every direction. The only live acts you can see around here are local bands (which is a scene that somewhat intimidates me) or the occasional very large act that happens about once every two years or so. It blows ass.

 

I'll happily reap the rewards of living in Chicago for now...pretty much ever big tour rolls through here and then some.

 

I've only listened to Destruction and Warbringer, but those two alone make it worth the price of admission.

 

That oathbreaker/king woman show was INSANE

 

Hoping to go to that Oathbreaker/King Woman show next week.

 

Meh. Same weekend I'll be in Baltimore for Maryland Deathfest. No big loss though. I'd rather be seeing Iron Lung, Genocide Pact, and Oranssi Pazuzu.

 

Yeah, I kinda wanna see Jungle Rot, but I'll probably pass on that tour. Maryland Deathfest is gonna be crazy though. Wish I could make it to something like that sometime. Always wanted to go to Hell Fest or something.
