And yeah this Metallica album is whatever. There are parts here and there that made me go 'neat' but that's not the reaction I want to have when listening to Metallica in 2023 lol

 

Went to go buy the t-shirt bundle and they don't have my size

Can anyone get me a playlist of metal tracks that feature tidbits of interviews, news reports, or otherwise spoken word sections?

One of my favorite things and always hits hard for me.

Some examples include Omerta from Lamb of God, ...And Then She Bled from Suicide Silence, and 44 Minutes from Megadeth

 

Off the top of my head I can think of a lot of metalcore songs that incorporate this, I'd have to think a little harder for straight up metal stuff

 

I like Bell Witch but I don't "whole ass trilogy of new albums" like Bell Witch tbh

 

but this sounds so epic

That and Liturgy are my early frontrunners for AOTY.

Just finished listening to United Abominations in my Megadeth listen-through. The first two songs are so sick and the next two are solid, then it just immediately sputters out.

The remix of A Tout Le Monde is pretty cool, Female vocals really fit that song.
