I bring to you another crossover/thrash album recently released (Mar 10th) but it's from a Canadian band, not a Texas band. And tbh I like it more than the new Judiciary and Skourge albums:

Gonna bring the old school. This 1988 debut album from German death thrashers Protector has been one of my favorites from a lesser known thrash band. Still a fun listen all these years later. Classic 80's album art too.

And lastly, this might be a cop-out, but I had this riff stuck in my head for days and couldn't recall what song it was, but I knew it was on Raining Blood. Turns out it's the song right before Raining Blood, should've known better. Shows how long it's been since I listened to that album. Anyways this opening riff has been living rent free in my head for days:

I was hoping the Creeping Death video drop would be from the live shoot, but this is sick as hell. Just wanted to watch myself get kicked in the head repeatedly.

 

It's not exactly my cup of tea, but the new Spectral Lore album has an awesome story and background. All sales from the digital version and proceeds from later physical editions will be donated to pro-refugee organizations and causes.

Felt nothing listening to the new Ne Obliviscaris record, not a single memorable moment that caught me ear, pretty surprising given how much I dig their other albums.

 

Encountered a Sabaton track on shuffle, the vocals sound very much like Jack Black in a lower register.

 

Tastefully brutal
