They are so good live. They kicked ass when I saw them open for Darkest Hour last week.

 

So bummed I won't get to make it to one of those shows, unless I can manage to get the night off from work on the night of the Cincinnati date ha. Them, Darkest Hour, and Tombs? Yes please.

Haven't really listened to Havok before, but I saw this on my timeline and thought it ripped.

 

Probably common knowledge, but DH leaked. I'm gonna pick up a copy at the show next Monday either way.

 

Yeah those guys are one of the best neo-thrash bands going. Their last album was a bit of a letdown but still pretty solid. One before that though, Time Is Up, fucking slays.

Speaking of neo-thrash, I'm really looking forward to the new Warbringer too.

How were they live? I never got a chance to see them unfortunately. After looking back on old tour dates, it looks like they played the town I went to college in during my first semester there with All Shall Perish and Emmure. So many regrets. :(

 

They were pretty decent. A lot of people didn't like booking them after a while because they were known for destroying venues during their shows. I actually have the demo pressing of this album, the song order is a little different.

 

I hear some Volbeat and Avatar in there with some Folk metal. Not bad, but not what I really listen to. Either way, don't let anyone tell you what you think metal is. I personally love hearing new music and if I haven't heard it, I will always appreciate those who share something new. Keep it up!

I'm enjoying the new Rude album. Pretty much modern day Morbid Angel worship, but still very good.

 

I gotta say, I love Rude's logo. It's so goofy but charming in its own way.
